You have an eating disorder, KL. That is what we call a "binge," and based on your previous posts, this isn't your first. I've done it before, too. I agree, it's frightening to feel so helpless and out of control. The reason you could eat more is because you weren't eating to stifle hunger, but emotions, and food does not satisfy that part of you that you're trying to soothe. I'm sorry that you're hurting, and I sincerely hope you are able to sort it out. -sends warm thoughts your way-

Given my limited success so far, I doubt that an entire package of sugar would do me much good :(

It's not necessary to be foolish to have a personality. And "hating" is a catch-all for "anything I don't want to hear".

It is not hating at all KL, many of your posts very clearly show a tendency towards binging and other food issues. This is coming from someone that has an eating disorder. I was trying to be nice and maybe nudge you in the right direction. I apologize if that came off as "hating".

My 2 favorite things to do with coconut milk is make "soup" with either a package of thawed berries, or a can of salmon (hopefully not at the same time).

I at least translated the title to English. KL, this site is in English, so please try to write in modern English for readability/sanity sake.

I contemplated drinking an entire can this morning... I wouldn't be able to eat anything for the rest of the day (calorie-wise) but it would've been delicious. Is it weird that I've been contemplating making a coconut milk / avocado smoothie?

KL, no hating, but you really do seem to have a few food issues. I feel like you are looking for confirmation that this is okay behavior and it's really not. Though Paleo can be unweighed/unmeasured, large quantities of nuts are not encouraged for many reasons.

I know what you mean...something about endless parades of bacon-wrapped filets that makes Brazillian steakhouses easy to hork down some serious volume of meat. :)

800 calories in 5 seconds as in one cup of heavy cream.

I've had the flu recently and couldn't keep anything down until I tried sugar-free jello with generous amounts of coconut milk. At one point after not eating for 2 days, I went through 2 cans of coconut milk in about 30 minutes, which I think is around 1,500 calories. I stuck it in the refrigerator first so it was like whipped cream.

I dont see eating butter or cream so appealing, i rather do hollandaise or some mushroom soup, less chance of binging. And i can sit down on table and enjoy the meal too. I think food shouldnt be just "fuel". I stopped buying full fat greek yogurt cause i felt i was eating it too much, and it isnt that great tasting as alone.

My highest would have to be the night I drank a quart of raw cream. That's 3200 calories, in about a minute, after a day of normal meals. Half experiment, half just not thinking about how energy-dense cream really is, even compared to whole Jersey milk. It went down easy, but like Stephen on his butter experiment, I was wired for hours afterwards. I drank it in the evening, so I was unable to sleep most of the night, and had some pretty nasty reflux.

Back in my garbage-eating days, there were certainly some very high calorie meals -- entire pizzas, cases of beer, etc. But I doubt any of them involved as high a calorie/time ratio as that jar of cream.

ive also since repeated the experiment using 2 sticks of organic valley pasture butter to determine how long until my body said, more fuel please.

Crazy Energy, and wasnt hungry for 36hr fast following.

I'm not sure how many calories it was, but my most recent visit to Fogo de Chao Brazilian Steakhouse had to be an insane amount of calories. It was like Meat Heaven!

I don't know the numbers, but I've downed whole chickens and whole cans of coconut milk in single sittings.

Edit: That's after going paleo. Some of my pre-paleo gorging was truly sad and disturbing in hind sight.
