i haven't, but only because i don't really know how to make it. One time I put a leftover chicken carcass in water in the crockpot for a day... but it didn't really gel. do you think bone broth would supply a significant amount of calcium? do you have suggestions on how to make it?

Even though my supplement says take 2 daily, I only take one (600 mg calcium; 800 iu Vitamin D). I take it in the morning with food, as the directions state. I only take one because the rest of my calcium I can get from my diet.

Side note: I know some Paleo people think calcium is overhyped, but a few months after I quit dairy my nails were so thin and weak that the aluminum foil box cut the top of them. According to Cronometer, I was only averaging 20% of the RDA. After starting supplements, my nail quality has improved.

I don't get enough calcium in my diet, either, according to cronometer. I've been adding canned salmon with the bones, but that's still only a third of my RDA of calcium. I also try to eat leafy greens as much as possible. Lastly, there's some calcium in my Natural Calm.

One capsule daily during first meal containing 600 mg calcium, 40 mg vitamin C, 5 µg vitamin D3, and 80 µg vitamin K works for me.
