Has anyone tried Crio Bru? Is it actually a valid coffee substitute?

I saw Crio Bru on Amazon in the coffee substitute category.  I assumed it was just another chicory/barley/rye based instant drink.  Turns out it's made from cocoa beans and is basically like a gourmet hot chocolate with no sugar.  Unlike the other coffee substitutes it says that it gives you energy but doesn't have caffeine?  Has anyone actually tried and verified this claim?  Do you actually feel better when you drink it regularly?

I'll admit I am a caffeine junkie.  However, I saw Crio Bru at a 1 Million Cups event and gave it a try.  I like the taste and consistency (with a little bit of cream and sugar added), but was surprised by the energy afterwards. I'm not sure I'll cut out caffeine entirely, but Crio is nice since it tastes good and makes me less jittery.
