How long does it take you to go through a pkg of Kerrygold Butter?

I'm fairly new to Paleo, and I'm trying to figure things out. I ask this question to see what the range is and where I fit on the spectrum, not to find a formula - the thing I like about this way of eating/living is that my diet will be calibrated to my responses to food. But still, as a newbie it's good to see what the wiser veterans are doing! I still feel a little sheepish buying 4 packs of Kerrygold at one time!

One block a week - that sounds good to me! It is pretty much what I am doing ... good to know and thanks for the input! Right now I am grating horseradish to make a fresh horseradish butter to put on top of tonights bison stew! YUM!!!

Thanks Nance! Right now I'm only cooking with butter and coconut oil, but because of the nutrient density I've been thinking of making my own ghee and cooking fairly exclusively with that - except for curries, which I love and for which only coconut oil will do!

Don't know how many days, didn't count that. But I try to use only 6 to 10 gr on a sitting, so I guess it lasts me quite a bit. Frankly, that's more than enough for me to sauté my veggies or whatever and I prefer to 'stock' on reserve calories because you don't know at the end of the day if you will be hungry and will want to eat more, so I try not going crazy on fat. I prefer it to be 'natural occurring' than 'stuffing' on it, maybe only exception my teaspoon of coconut oil.

When I was using Organic Valley it took me a few weeks to get through a package. Since I tried Kerrygold though, I intentially look for things to put better on! I went through one just this week! My local Kroger has it on sale for $3.99 (as opposed to $6.49) right now too!

I use butter on cooked vegetables and, if I'm not also cooking meat, eggs. So depending on my meal plans I might use no butter at all in a given week or half a pound. I'd say my average over time is less than half a pound per week.
