I snuck a stick of butter into a movie theater to eat instead of my friends candy. Have I gone too far?

ps- no ravishing hunger during or after :)

agreed, this is a ridiculous thing for anyone to do. Why not instead bring your own popped corn(organic, non GMO..or not) with some melted butter on it? Why do you need an energy boost for sitting through a movie????????

Then I won't worry. I'll join Dave in giving you a medal. On second thought, I'll give you a dehydrator, so you can make your own pemmican. ;-)

I agree to a point, but it's still not as bad as that one guy (forget who it was) who was boasting about taking sticks of butter to the airport as travel food and enjoying people staring. At least in a movie theater the point is to have something to snack on while enjoying a movie, not to show off how omg!unconventional you are.

But did you need an *entire* stick of butter?

I never liked popcorn too much, just needed some paleo friendly energy and didn't have time to cook (all the almonds,etc... were overpriced and not as satiating

Do you feel the physical need to snack on butter during a movie, or is this just so you don't feel deprived of an old habit of snacking on popcorn during a movie? If the former, there's no problem. If you think it's the latter (ruminate on it a bit), then some inner work is indicated before your next movie outing.

Depends...did you feel the need to tie your own belt around your arm then found yourself with a chunk of butter on a spoon while you had a lighter going under it?

...cause I mean...we've ALL been there...

Just curious, did you lick it like an ice cream cone, or take bites like a banana?

yes, you went too far. and i'll stand by that, unpopular as it seems to be so far.

there's simply no need to eat sticks of butter in movie theatres.

Bake some cauliflower-popcorn (with ghee or butter) store in a warm container and sneak it into the movie instead of eating a stick of butter... that's just desperate and gross. Lol.
