is Amba (mango) sauce Paleo?

it's a sauce that is popular in india , israel, iraq & middle east in general

usually made from:

mango pickles

grinded Fenugreek seeds

lemon salt

salt

Turmeric (Curcuma longa)

|

maybe contains:

vinegar

mustard

chili

Curry powder

lemon juice

spicy Paprika (red)

|

i mean everyone has his own recipe so it might be different

No grains? No dairy? No chemicals/preservatives? No soy? If yes to all, then you're good to go for the most part. Don't over think this whole "paleo" thing.

Paleo-puritan answer: pickled-anything and vinegar were not paleolithic foods, so no. Let alone all those spices.

Real answer: yeah! looks yummy and fairly healthy for a sauce. There's no ingredients at-odds with paleo-eating.
