I'm making bird seed wreaths, and burnt The lard. Can I still use it?

I'm not sure the birds are too worried about burnt lard. Go ahead and use it. Worse case? some cheap poultry just outside your door!

If you intended to eat them, then theyre ruined. If its meant for the birds, then the lard is fine.

Lard is typically about 50% monounsaturated fats, which will in fact oxidize when heated.
