Could an abundance of consumed vinegar strip minerals from the body/bones?

Aside from stomach upset, what could too much consumed vinegar/lemon juice do to the body?

I use a lot vinegar and lemon juice to flavor my food.

How much is too much?

How detrimental might too much be, and how could it affect my body?

Could it strip my body of minerals?

You're absolutely right. If someone were to genuinely worry about every little thing, all the myriad contingencies imaginable, life would become almost impossible to live. However, this is a legitimate concern for me because I do use A LOT of acid in my cooking. Although these acids have been touted as salutary, I don't want to find out later that I have been irreversibly harming my body slowly enough to not notice.

Your body generates and neutralizes quite a bit of acid daily. Don't over-think it.

I think you are overthinking things. Vinegar and lemon juice both have great health benefits.

If anything the acidity would increase mineral absorption in the stomach.

Relax, Paleo is meant to be a lifestyle, not "let's overthink every single food I eat." No. If you reacting negatively to a certain type of food, stop eating it. Simple.
