I've seen a lot of talk about hydrolyzed collagen being easier to absorb or something, or that our body cannot use gelatin.
Anyone have references to back this up?
I way prefer the idea of homemade broth (not to mention it's helluva cheaper), but if hydrolyzed collagen (e.g. Great Lakes) is more effective then I will go with that. I'm mostly interested in the collagen benefits for the skin. I don't really care about the other nutrients in broth since I get all of those through other stuff like liver, dairy etc.
