Low blood pressure..any cures?

I've always had problems with low blood pressure and low blood sugar (one of the reasons I switched to Paleo). Anyways, lately whenever I stand up my vision gets quite blurred and I beccome quite dizzy to the point where I need to hold on to something. I have been paleo 2 months and eat between 1300-1500 calories a day.A typical day consists of an apple and peanut butter for breakfast or dried fruit, lunch consists of a pork chop and a half cup of rice and for dinner I normally have 1 or 2 pork chops and some veggies. I'm usually fairly sedentary my main exercise is about 4 hours of walking per week. Is there anything I can do to fix this?

Yeah, 1300-1500 cal a day isn't much, even for a sedentary lifestyle.

And be very careful with alcohol. It makes your blood sugar drop and can in some cases lead to fainting.

Would you mind posting your gender, height and weight? This seems like way too little to eat to me. And I'm little.

In addition to the salt & calories advice above: Try mixing in better quality fats & proteins into your breakfasts (preferably in the form of eggs or meat).

Eat more- based on what you're eating per day, I'd be more concerned that this is blood sugar related as opposed to blood pressure. Would probably be wise to have both checked. To try and make adjustments in your diet without knowing what the actual problem is will be difficult.

Peanut butter and rice wouldn't be considered true paleo per Robb wolf. Also there is no concept of calorie restriction - you eat as much as your body tells you to. A couple of eggs in the morning , pork chops with a big salad and some lamb/ beef for dinner with veggies would be better fit per paleo.

I wonder if you still taking in carbs is the reason why you have an insulin rise and eventual fall? If you still feel like carbs, perhaps you could eat bananas or sweet potatoes instead of rise?

Are you taking in fish oil, vit d and probiotic as needed? Have you gotten checked for any thyroid issues?
