Irritation in left calf?

I'm 24, 6'2", and weigh 165. I eat healthy. I eat many eggs. (4-8/day) I'm a photographer, so I have to edit photos and I'm on my computer many hours of the day. I have been sitting on a stool for quite some time. I constantly shift. Sometimes I stand. I'm on my bum a lot.

I've lately felt an irritation/stinging in my left calf, and it will randomly come and go. It's not red or swelling. Just irritating and maybe hot underneath skin (not hot to touch though). I don't exercise much, but occasionally walk.

When I'm sleeping it seems fine, but once I get up, it will go into random spurts of irritation again. Have I been putting too much pressure on my leg from constantly changing positions, or could it be something else? I've had it for about 5-6 days now.

I'm now sitting on a chair and table to see if it helps.

Any advice appreciated. Thanks! :)

I've had calf problems in the past. Those were bad. Don't have them anymore. Could you explain the irritation? A bit more detail.

I used to have leg issues, twitches, cramps, sensation of 'a spider crawling up my leg'. I have been doing a lot of the exercises on this site, seems to have helped tremendously: http://www.mobilitywod.com/

Go see an Active Release Technique practitioner. REALLY helps.

Severer deficiency in vitamin D, B12, and/or Iron can sometimes cause these symptoms. you may want to try a multi or go to the doctor to get your blood checked.
