I haven't had a period in about 9 months after I lost some weight earlier this year. however, I was surprised by my latest blood test results which said I have the estradiol of a man or post-menopausal woman.
testosterone, total 36
am I becoming a dude? should I be pretty worried about this? in the past month my libido has disappeared, though it has always been low. my T3 is 2.3
however! my cholesterol numbers came back amazingly since starting Paleo a couple months ago.
total 236 (previously 159 in March)
HDL 116 (previously 75 in March)
LDL 111 (previously 73 in March)
Trig 46 (previously 54 in March)
I am pretty amused and pleased and I think I am at least partially on the road to health with how much fat I am eating these days...but a period would be nice

I'm also not surprised you are not getting a period at that body fat %. That is very, very low. I don't know much about the blood work, but I was in the same situation as you once (had no period for almost 4 years) I had similar blood results and body fat % as you, I was doing excessive amounts of cardio exercise and had great cholesterol numbers as-well.
All I can say is that your body would probably greatly appreciate you gaining some weight in a healthy way. Every women is different, but for me I didn't get my periods back until I weighed over 125lbs and I am only 5'4.

I would get a salivary hormone test.... this will give you better indicators on where your levels are at...
I am a student of the FDN program- but there are many awesome certified practitioners around.
Is your body fat super low?

no offense, but i can't believe you are asking this question on the internet... under the assumption that you are a young, premenopausal woman, if you have been missing your period, then maybe you should be seeing an endocrinologist or at the very least, your family doctor? i will put out there that i don't know everything but as a med student that just took an exam on endocrinology...i will say that i'm pretty sure any no doctor (whether the much despised "conventional" type among the die-hard paleo community or the ever integrative naturopath doc etc...) would encourage asking this over the internet...
your LH is low and your estradiol is low suggesting some form of primary hypogonadism...but go see your doc for christ's sake...sorry if i sound like a dick but i feel pretty damn strongly about this.
