Male here with Low Blood Pressure and want to get access to medical MJ.

however, long term chronic medical cannabis use lowers BP. Will I have a stroke or something and die if I smoke regularly because of my low BP issue?

The OP also will have access to the eatable products which also have much more beneficial effects than smoking. However it is said, perhaps documented,  that ingesting THC, not smoking it, will lower BP.

If I were you I would do some googling and ask this question on Medical Marijuana forums rather than on a Paleo forum so as to read about real life experiences of others with your condition.

Smoking is not healthy for anyone, whether it be tobacco or MJ. Smoking is carcinogenic and does cause plenty of damage. There's a lot of people that have vested interests in telling you that smoking is good for you, but use your common sense, burning smoke with tar and several other questionable pollutants which are carcinogenic, do not promote good health. The whole marijuana thing is more politics than health, anyone with an ounce of logic knows that smoking (except for those water vapor cigarretes, which are basically just water) can lead to long-term health complications. Do whatever you like but remember, if your health deteriorates, you will have to live with the consequences and you will have no one to blame but yourself.

Your comment reads like a religious pamphlet.

Can you post a source for the claim that smoking MJ is carcinogenic and has caused even 1 case of lung cancer?

@Compote A religious pamphlet? I'm an atheist lol. Thanks for the insult though, i always appreciate being insulted when giving people advice on how to live healthier. Well you said you wanted a source, i hope the University of Washington is good enough for you: marihuana smoke

When compared to tobacco smoke it has: "5 times the carbon monoxide, 3 times the tar, higher levels of ammonia and hydrogen cyanide...50% more benzopyrene and nearly 75% more benzanthracene, both known carcinogens..."

But then again what do i know right? Let me guess, you only listen to people who tell you what you want to hear huh? Lol.

vaporizers? concentrates? edibles? tinctures?

theres so many better and healthier ways to consume thc than smoking

i do believe that smoking cannabis is just as bad for your lungs as smoking ciggarettes. however there has been little to no evidence of negative health effects of vaporizers, and practically none for edibles and tinctures.

concentrates fall under the same relm as vaporizers in terms of health assuming they've been made properly with vacuum purging and whatnot.

I know you still hold pre-1950s views of the medical benefits of MJ because you even spell it with an "H" - "marihuana"
