This one is for my hubby. He's been paleo for a year. On Saturday night, we had dinner where nothing was out of the normal except a "paleo-freindly" italian cheesecake his mom made. He proceeded to eat nearly half of it. The next day he woke up bloated. No kidding! But now, it's Tuesday night and he is still severely bloated. He says its uncomfortable to eat and drink b/c he's so bloated. He's mentioned having minor bm's over the past few days. What could still be causing this? Should we be worried?

Lol, what was in the cheesecake? If problems persist he should probably visit his GP.

He should definitely go and see his doctor if unusual symptoms persist for more than a couple of days. I would suggest you ask your mother-in-law for the full recipe of the cheesecake and that way you can check if there were ingredients that might have caused this problem. My husband is following quite a low-carb Paleo at the minute as he is trying to lose weight, he finds he bloats if he then has even paleo-friendly higher-carb flours such as tapioca flour. Hope he recovers quickly.
