Post-Eating Disorder Water Problem / Extreme Water Retention

Hello,

I am struggling with something that I have been struggling with for a few years, have seen several doctors for, and found no resolution.

I am now a 22-year-old male.  When I was 19 I began a Paleo Diet and began exercising regularly, however, I did not eat enough and lost a lot of weight rapidly.  I got down to 115 lbs and lost my testosterone.  I had grown a very muscular physique but the body fat percentage was unhealthily low.  After about a year of being underweight and too much fasting, I developed a Binge Eating Disorder.  It was over the course of 2 and a half years that I secretly would eat what I believe to be fatal amounts of food, to the point of extreme bloatation followed by periods of where I could do nothing but lie down for the next 2 days.   During these times I would eat lots of salty or sugary things, such as eating 3+ jars of peanut butter, which would cause intense thirst, and then I would drink say a whole gallon of water or milk and it would add to the blotation that was so extreme I felt my stomach could explode.  I was out of control in this way for these 2 and a half years.  My bingeing was always followed by 1-3 days of not eating anything and doing intense cardio exercise while drinking gallons of water.

It was around this time after one of the first times that I ate/drank such huge amounts , that one day as I lay down I began to feel what felt like contents moving around under my skin.  It started predominantly in my stomach, but then would move up from my stomach to my chest, and if I lay on my stomach it would move over onto my back, etc.  It felt like a kind of bubbly fluid moving around everywhere.  I also felt it in my face and arms, areas where I had lost a lot of fat when I was underweight.  Oftentimes the feeling of fluid content moving around underneath my skin would cause me to feel very cold and chilled from inside my body, and then I would receive very strong hunger and in particular craving salty or spicy foods which would cause me to sweat and bring my body heat back up.

From here on, ever since then, anytime I drink any beverage of any kind, I feel my head become flooded with some kind of cold fluid.  My whole body almost immediately feels the sensaiton of whatever I drink being spread throughout my body underneath my skin, but most especially in my stomach and my head and face.  My face appears much rounder than it used to be, as throughout my life I always had a long thin oval face.  The cheeks are puffy over the ears, and my eyes lids appear very puffy as well.

I am no longer bingeing, I have stopped all exercise of any kind, I eat every few hours.  I eat paleo much of the time but try not to be too restrictive.  I attend school and work, which I was unable to do when my eating disorder was as terrible as it was.

I have had numerous bloodtests done, x-rays of my stomach, and other tests.  The doctors have found nothing abnormal other than high cortisol.

I really truly would like this to stop.  As I am 22 now, all these years have been a blur, I would like to move on with my life, and this has caused me a lot of suffering.  Any help/ideas as to what is going on, and how I could help this issue would be appreciated.

Thank you
