I have been getting ready for the military the past month or so, and i have been doing the SEALFIT workouts, 6 days a week my diet has been pretty much the same(2200-2500 cals) and my foods are chicken breast, sweet potatoes, wild rice, and nuts along with vegetables, and fruits. Sometimes i overeat the stuff particularly the wild and brown rice i was wondering why ?

6'0" and 195 doing SEAL FIT and you are eating 2000 kcal? I know 5'2" 118lb high school volleyball players who eat more than that.

You can watch your carb level a little but if you are working out hard 4-5 days a week or more for an hour + (which I believe is the level that Seal Fit is talking about) you need to eat more. A LOT MORE.

I don't know what size you are etc but perhaps with your exercise program etc you would de better with eating more calories than you are currently. I'm not very familiar with the fitness programs re sealfit but it's probably fairly intense?

You also may have a degree of insulin resistance if you're overdoing the carb-heavy fods like rice (or it's just damn too palatable ;) ) I would lean toward my first thought though and any IR may amplify the overeating thing.

Another point- what you're eating looks great but is it possible you are getting much fat? How long have been eating this way?

Omgosh, since the news recently about that rice has arsenic in it, i havent made a new batch, and im realizing how much i was eating it. Now, im back to fried cabbage in coconut oil, and veggies, with my meats. Really missing the rice :(

I totally agree with whoreball. Rice is a trigger food for me which is why I do not eat it. I also try to stay away from fruit with the exception of a few mixed berries in my morning green smoothie. All other fruits seem to increase my hunger by afternoon time. I personally do best when I do not eat any fruit but have started my day with green smoothies for years and just cannot cut them out of my diet. Green smoothies are much tastier with a few berries thrown in.

Mindful eating. Get rid of all distractions and focus on eating. Chew properly and wait a few seconds after every bite.

Limit your portions. Make only the amount you want to eat or take your portions and eat away from the food.

Maybe you are hungry and your body is demanding more food? When people say rice is one of the acceptable grains, i still stay away from it. It's really addictive, i can consume bowlfuls of rice without realizing. If you have any other option i would say remove the rice.
