beta blockers and paleo challenge

Hi If i do a 30 day challenge in Nov, will my efforts be undone in part by the beta blocker i am taking. i started a low dose july 1st due to a fast resting heart rate. I had been low carb for 2 months at that point and had always suffered from a fast heart in response to stress, coffee (never drank it), sugar and chocolate. since going more paleo, i find i am even more sensitive in terms of an increased heart rate, when i "cheat" than before cleaning up my diet, even with the meds.

my goal is to get off the meds all together in a couple months. if possible.

so by doing the challenge, the only thing i am changing is getting rid of the tiny bit of processed food i still have (whey, flavored nuts) and going off dairy (i only have butter, cheese and heavy cream now) - but my hope is that by detoxing, and reducing possible inflammation i may increase my chances of not needing the meds anymore.

i would love any feedback at all, thanks lisa

I have the same thing and I had to get rid of Chocolate. You might ask your doctor about calcium blockers instead. If they work than you may simply have a magnesium deficency. This is what I found out but your mileage may differ.
