Beginner paleo 20yr old female. Please help guide me :)

I am a 20yr old female trying to lose weight and feel a bit better on the inside. I'd like to lose about 20kg in 7mths I am currently 164cm tall and weigh 88kg. This is my 5th day on paleo and I am feeling really good. I had a bit of diahorrea on the 3rd and 4th day but feeling really good now. How often/ how long and what sort of intensity should I be excersising at? I have been strict with my diet, no dairy, no grain and no processed foods. I have had a small amount of sweet potato, is that okay? I would just like to hear other people's opinions on what I should eat and do to achieve my goal. Thank you.

Really enjoy the food your eating. So spend more time than you usually would on making food and make different things. I like to make things that I can store in my fridge and eat later in the week if I don't have the time to cook. And leftovers are amazing always make more food than necessary so you can eat it later. And utilize websites like PaleoHacks. I started paleo 3 months ago, and this website has been great for little questions that I can't find an answer for. And with exercise, I believe Crossfit is a great way to get fit so Crossfit workouts, you can find them on www.crossfit.com or www.wodshop.org. Good Luck ! I hope you reach your goal ! The weight will reduce, no doubt about it. Although i would refrain from having weight goals. Why? Because you cannot control your weight, however you can control the food you put in your mouth. Base your success on how many clean eating days you can get, and this is bound to reduce the weight. Mainly, this will help keep your sanity and not obsess over the weighing scale.

Diet wise, you are fine. Stick to that, and yes sweet potatoes are okay. Exercise wise, this depends on what you like. Definitely avoid, an overdose of cardio. Try experimenting with weights or bodyweight exercises. Whatever you find fun and fits your schedule. Just make sure to move everyday :)

I can't speak for everyone but I do believe that Sweet Potato is considered fine.

Since you are up against a 7mo timeline I would concentrate on high intensity training (sprints, quick metcons) for the most bang for your buck and the best use of your time. A 20min CrossFit type work out is much better than 2 hours on the elliptical machine.

Something that has a limited time component to it. I'd also try to work out with someone. Try to concentrate on multi joint movements (deadlifts, squats, push ups) to get your body amped up for the new requirements that you have placed on it.

Keep it up, and don't beat yourself up if you cheat every now and again. Actually, have scheduled cheat days, it'll prevent you from binge eating the bad stuff.
