Help! Wedding in six weeks!! What to eat to get glowing skin?

I have dull dry skin, some acne, and rough skin texture. What should I eat to get beautiful, fresh, glowing skin? (food, drinks and supplements). I'm already eating 3 tbsp of coconut oil a day. Thank you all for your help :D

Try a bit of that coconut oil on your skin.

Do you still do dairy? If so, nix it for a while and see if the acne improves.

My skin looks noticeably better when I eat: liver, carrots, carrot juice, sweet potato, canned smoked oysters and sardines, and olive oil on a regular basis.

Going off of the liver idea....try fermented cod liver oil/butter oil blend Green Pastures. Tons of vitamin A, + D and K2 ...which maybe you need by the sound of your skin. But maybe get your vitamin A levels checked before.

Also do you take cold showers? They are great for soft skin, shiny hair.

Drink lots of water and make sure you're absorbing it (by adding salt). Drinking salty water has made a big difference in my skin!

I know this will probably get me crucified here, but consider also seeing a Dermatologist. Paleo isn't the answer to every medical problem in this world. A Dermatologist might be able to help get your acne under control for your big day with some Cortisone injections or antibiotic creams.

From a pure food perspective, just keep eating healthy Paleo and cutting out all refined sugar/wheat/etc. Your body takes time to heal.

Liver. Beef liver. The bioavailable copper + vitamin A does wonders for my own skin. Though it's less about acne, more about KP, but it's probably worth a try.

Few dermatologists recommend it, but tanning (sun bed) can help with acne. A high school friend was told to tan regularly as he had whole-body acne problems, cleared up and he always looked like he was back fresh from a beach vacation, even in the depths of winter when the rest of us were translucent.
