Tinned Mackerel, good or bad.

I enjoy tinned mackerel in tomato sauce as a quick healthy fast food type snack. I already know the benefits of oily fish & i'm sure i read that tinned mackerel in tomato sauce retains omega 3 unlike tinned tuna. My concern is toxins such as bishpenol a leaching into the fish because of the acidity from the tomato sauce. Does anyone have any knowledge on this please? This is the brand i buy.. http://www.john-west.co.uk/product-information/mackerel-fillets-in-tomato-sauce Thanks in advance guys.

Where did you read that tomato sauce helps retain the omega 3s?
