Preferably some tips besides obvious once like breastfeeding them and not letting them sit by the computer or television all day. Should they get a shot of vitamin-K at birth? Should day have a comforter/pacifier? A baby bouncer? Vaccination? Exposed to sunlight or shade? When to introduce food, besides nursing milk, early or late? Dangers of EMF? Etc.

Rather link to scientific studies than anecdotal stories

You're missing out on a wealth of anecdotal wisdom here. I agree with CDone. If you want studies, just google them.

There are hoards of studies out there on vaccinations, vitamin k, etc. Do your own research. If you don't understand how to interpret, or have a question about two contradictory studies, then present those.

I gave my children breast milk as long as I could, either directly from the source or pumping it into a bottle. I rocked them to sleep 99% of the time, and encouraged lots of touch (baby massages, skin-to-skin contact). I made sure their contact with TV/electronic toys was extremely minimal, encouraging free play with each other, alone, and with parents. My kids and I are very close, and our bonds and trust are amazing. They are always smiling and saying "Mommy, I love you!" out of nowhere. <3

  1. Feed them (breast milk first, formula if breast milk is not an option).

  2. Love them
