Hi all, Just got the tests back and positive for SIBO. I have been dealing with terrible GI issues since catching c. dif. in the hospital last year. I already have celiac, hashimotos, and ulcerative proctitis. I eat a combination of Autoimmune paleo, low FODMAPS, and SCD. My doctor wants to prescribe Rifazamin (spelling?), but I am concerned about getting back on the antibiotic train again, as I think that is what caused this mess in the first place. I am so utterly and completely open to thoughts, ideas, and suggestions. Thanks so much! Ali

Ali- I just found this website and noticed you posted back in October. In case you're still looking for relief...I have SIBO, Celiac and hashimotos like you (and am also lactose and soy intolerant). I tried 4 rounds of antibiotics for SIBO and when my doctor told me I had to take the antibiotics the rest of my life I decided to find a nutritionist. I'm 5.5 months into a one year program with an awesome nutritionist who put me on a restricted paleo diet and a bunch of supplements-- and it's working! I have no more bloating, pooping problems or gas- my family is very happy as well :) Let me know if you want his info- he has changed my life. Steph
