Hello everyone! So currently I suffer from pretty bad digestive issues and I'm scheduled for a colonoscopy in the next few days. For months now my diet had consisted of a combination of AIP, low FODMAPS and SCD. My question was if anyone had any suggestions as to whay types of clear liquids I could drink besides bone broth prior to the day of the colonoscopy? I definitely want to stay away from drinks like gatorade, coffee, ??carbonated drinks like soda or fruit juices high in refined sugar! So basically everything that's "allowed"! I was thinking of drinking raw coconut water for electrolytes but I've been refraining from it due to the amount of sugar in it. Also would consuming a little bit of olive oil prior to the day of the procedure be ok since it's not solid? ??Also I heard following a low residue diet a few days prior to a colonoscopy helps with "clearing things out". Any suggestions as to what I can eat? Sorry if this seems like a lot of questions/information at one time! I've never had this procedure before and just wanted to make sure I'll be strong enough for the procedure. I certainly don't want to take it again any time soon! Any suggestions or help anyone may have is greatly appreciated!??

Gelatin would be just fine. Jello is allowed on a clear liquid diet, and any form of gelatin would be OK - Great Lakes would be much better than Jello!
