If this stings too much you can probably dilute the vinegar by 50%. It doesn't take that much acidity to fry yeast.

The vinegar is distilled white vinegar. It is cheap and available anywhere. I think the point is to submerge your feet in acid to kill the yeast. My husband was very prone to Athlete's foot, tried all sort of lotions, and came upon this somewhere sort of by accident. It is very unpleasant but it worked very well. He soaked his feet for a while (20 minutes may be). He can go for more then a year after a single application.

Soak your feet in regular vinegar for as long as you can stand it, until they become wrinkly if possible. This kills the fungus for a long time.

Honestly, tea tree oil and Gold Bond work really well for me. Also, wear sandals, slippers, or go barefoot for an hour or so after a shower before putting socks on.

Change your socks and reapply oil & powder a few times a day.
