Have you seen this before/after pic from Scott Sonnon trying paleo?

http://www.rmaxinternational.com/flowcoach/?p=809 is the page with the rules he followed for 3 months to make the change.

None of these rules will be a surprise to us here at PaleoHacks, but SS has a strong following. This post of his from Jne 27th, 2001 could bring more than a few thousand people over to the Paleo-side.

Can you point me to some other physical trainers who have posted about Paleo recently?

Why oh Why did I click that link?! I have been using the www for awhile and should know better! It looks like some major Photoshopping gone wrong. It looks like he was using the skin smoothing tool, he kinda looks like he is made out of clay. I would like to see a normal picture.

If you want to see the pinnacle of paper-thin skin, prepare to lose your lunch...http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_SOA99Aw8Juo/SVmiWtxbgQI/AAAAAAAAAD4/Tj-CQRdkKzg/s400/Rich_Gaspari_003.jpg

isn't paper thin skin bad? Isn't that what they call "old people" skin. Is his use of the phrase some sort of muscle-man term?

Darn you Paul and your simultaneous posting of my thoughts. Are you the ET to my Elliott? (or vice versa)

His numbered rules are taken pseudo-verbatim from KGH.

That's funny, his ten steps to "paper thin skin" are lifted almost verbatim from Kurt Harris's steps. And it doesn't appear that he cites Kurt Harris on that page.

Also, he seems to be looking dopey on purpose on the left and flexing on the right. And the tattoo would subsume any vascularity in the left-hand picture. To cap it off, that is not "paper-thin" skin. Weirdo chest vascularity and crazy serratus muscles would indicate paper thin skin. Lastly, the picture on the right makes him look like Lord Voldemort (aka He Who Shall Not Be Named).

In summary, even though he could beat me up pretty bad, I'm not sure about this guy :)

This looks shopped.

I can tell from some of the pixels and from seeing quite a few shops in my time.

Oh yeah, it's 'shopped fer sure, but that is mainly the skin quality, etc. (and, yeah, they went w-a-a-a-a-y too far on the face). Still, it looks like he maxed out the physique pretty well on his "paleo experiment" and that hasn't been touched up much really.

The guy is a master self-promoter and we can probably fault him for not acknowledging where he cribbed his list from, but he does have some good workout info too so I am willing to "welcome him into the fold" so to speak. ;p
