Rashes + anxiety? What could it be?

I have had itchy skin, itchy ear canals and ears in general, itchy anal canal, itchy eyes, and 24/7 anxiety for about a year now. I've been on Paleo, but I also removed sugar, nuts, seeds, dairy and nightshades and it helps but does not abolish these symptoms. Any tips? For the last few years, I have not been able to sleep at night without taking some sort of supplement.

Thank you.

Yes, a Metametrix test, but I'm not sure if it was legitimate? No other medical doctor could confirm the results so I am suspicious of the legitimacy of the results. It stated I had a myriad of problems, including fat malabsorption, yeast overgrowth, H. Pylori, low obligate anaerobes, etc.

Just putting it out there that the sleep problem might be something different. When you went to any doctors did they do any tests?

I have had this problem for 5 years and I can tell you 100% for sure the sleeping problem has nothing to do with watching TV or using the computer or through the amount of stress in my life. Candida on the other hand is much more likely a cause. As far as I understand, it punctuates the intestinal wall and causes leaky gut, further stimulating 24/7 cortisol release as well as rashes where the immune system begins to attack scattered food particles throughout the body.

Have you removed any personal care products such as soap and deodorant that might contain chemicals that you're allergic to?

Could be candida...

But it also could be anything from xerosis, eczema, a whole slew of different dermatitis', and even something that may seem unrelated like tachycardia. Hard to diagnose over the internet, without seeing the rash, and you might not know until you get it checked out but I would suggest starting out with candida. There is a lot of info here about candida.

If you do decide to see a doctor and get a diagnosis I would like to remind you that you do not have to take medication for everything, a lot of symptoms can be relieved without prescription pills.

One suggestion I could make is to use coconut oil on your skin. I used to have skin problems and coconut oil has helped a great deal. Also, your sleeping problem might not be related to these other problems, it can be caused by many things like stress, or being overstimulated in the evening (watching tv at night or being on the computer late).

I will answer with a leading question: What did your doctor say about this?

If you don't have that answer yet, stop -- you should.
