Does anyone have experience with using essential oils therapeutically? Do you have any reliable resources to recommend? I'm skeptical about this, but several people have told me about the benefits they have gotten from essential oils and oil blends. If there is something to it, I would like to use essential oils to help decrease my systemic inflammation...but I'm having trouble pinning down consistent information on this topic.

When I was going thru my divorce several years ago, I was adviced to use geraniume to lower my anxiety. I started using it and also explored keeping my heart chakra open - and staying is trust (when trust was violated). I added ylang ylang and sandalwood to the geranium. I really feel that these oils helped me keep my stress level down.
That was three years ago - I have been playing around with essential oils in other ways since then. I would recommend them. So much so I started to sell them recently... I am going with the doTerra brand but that is not to say there are not other great oil companies out there! This is just the one I am going with. If you want to work with oils, I would recommend working with someone who knows what they are doing and is knowledgable and can answer questions. I am happy to recommend an herbalist to work with or can help you with some oils if you want to dabble.
