Desmond Morris: The Human Animal, The Naked Ape -- any thoughts?

I just came accross the BBC special from the 1990s, called The Human Animal, about the research of Desmond Morris. I'm watching part of it now. He's also the author of The Naked Ape. Granted, I'm interested in evolutionary psychology and anthropology as it is. But does anyone know if he says anything about diet? Any other thoughts in general? Is he actually scientific, or does he only use his observations?

Thanks.

He certainly has a sensible approach to eating and he may be correct that the more we stress over minor details the more we mess ourselves up. Be happy!

my thanks as well. I think I'll add this to my list of readings for people who ask me about paleo. His style is simple and concise.

thank you for the link. he just states how it is and how it was. he is definitely pro meat eater though.no shyness about eating meat. and he takes issue with the all grain diet of the third world as being sub optimal. he would be an easy convet to paleo diet.

He was a researcher and teacher at Oxford, so he is legit. He didn't cover nutrition very much in his books as far as I remember, but he did write this: http://www.healthspan.co.uk/articles/the-evolution-of-diet/ which is pretty paleo.

I don't remember him dealing with diet issues. But his Discovery channel specials and his books are worth the time to watch and read.
