Has anyone bought macadamias in bulk from amazon?

I found 5 pounds of raw macadamias on amazon for a reasonable price, but the description states that they are 90% whole macadamia nuts. Do any of you have any idea why they would only be 90%? The reviews seem good but I don't want to take my chances.

Here is the link to the product: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0002VXYR8/ref=ox_sc_act_title_2?ie=UTF8&m=ASBG6UVTMWDAY

It's a promise of quality. Like the count per pound of shrimp. They're guaranteeing that 90% minimum are whole. Let's us know if they're good when you get them, please!

I thought perhaps there is a shell that gets removed but I like this answer better.

It could mean the other 10% are pieces. I've bought cans of cashews that were labeled as cashew pieces, as opposed to whole nuts.

I bought them a few times, perfect ones. Very few were halves, most of them whole nuts. Whole nuts are more valuable, that's all. I had a good experience with this ones.

I avoided the ones you linked to because I didn't know what 90% meant either.

I did however just buy these (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001EQ5IBU) and they're delicious.
