So after reading some articles about the possible health dangers of aluminum, I decided it was worth trying to reduce the aluminum I'm exposed to. I've suffered from anxiety attacks for a long time and looking for something new to try. I started using an aluminum free deodorant and I haven't cooked with foil or eaten from aluminum cans, in the past few days. Today I'm really feeling off: anxiety is up, I arrived at class at the wrong time by accident, and having brain fog, also I was really gassy (sorry tmi lol). Are these some kind of detox symptoms? I'm really not sure what to think!!

Aluminum is a metalloestrogen and estrogen deficiency may cause such symptoms as far as I know, but even if it's really about this, I think you will need to compensate differently, not with aluminum.

This is the only thing I can see that might be related to what your talking about. http://articles.mercola.com/sites/articles/archive/2009/11/24/why-canned-soups-can-be-dangerous-to-your-health.aspx

I'm pretty sure it's actually unrelated. We all have our good days and bad days. I had a real off day yesterday and kept trying to attribute it to this and that but in the end figured it was just an off day. Some combo of a poor night's sleep, a change in my usual meal habits, and the heat that day probably just threw my off equilibrium.
FWIW I'm not so sure there's any real danger in aluminum foil or cans... Did you read a study or something you wouldn't mind sharing? I might be getting a lot of aluminum in my diet and not even know it.
