Nasal corticosteroid sprays??

Anyone on here use Nasonex, Nasacort, or Flonase or one of the related sprays? From what I can tell they are only absorbed locally in the nose (some must get into your blood stream). They helped me in the past with decreasing swelling in the nose. Havent used them since I was hardcore paleo over 1 year ago but I am thinking they'd be helpful again. Whats your take?

I use them sometimes but they are a second line of defense. Nasal flushing, using a neti pot or bottle is my first line of defense. Also I will use Afrin for a week sometimes to get rid of temporary swelling.

I am more ok with drug use then a lot of people though.

I used Nasonex of a couple of years; it helped while I was using it. But, I have no need to go back to it; since I tried nasal flushing. I did nasal flushing for a couple of years (to reduce and/or eliminate springtime pollen allergies). I no longer need to do it; the allergies have all but gone away. I sometimes use OTC antihistamines, but I no longer need prescriptions, or flushing.

Search for the "University of Wisconsin" and "nasal flushing" for the method and how to prepare the ultra-cheap solution.
