Are large breasts a Neolithic phenomenon? (yes, another boob question!)

Inspired by the other thread I started, Have any other Paleo women opted to go bra-free? it made me wonder if unmanageably large breasts which are fairly common these days are a result of natural selection/preference in an agricultural-based society?

While representations in the form of carvings and paintings of large-breasted women were common throughout the Upper Paleolithic, those seemed to be more of an ideal/fetish than based off of actual women. I'd imagine that having to forage and even join in hunts for game would not favor those with large chests. However, with the advent of a more sedentary existence brought on by farming and lots of downtime, large breasts would not pose as much of a hindrance.

Because the two questions are not the same, just related.

I don't think we need 2 threads here; why not discuss on your other thread?
