So I stopped eating dairy, grains, and added sugars (including honey and maple syrup) for two weeks. I basically lived off of sweet poatoes, broccoli, eggs, spinach, almonds, and salmon. My skin is completely clear for the first time in years. I don't consider myself paleo or even primal, but I don't eat processed grains - I'll eat oats, quinoa, and rice occasionally, and some cheese.
Which do you think was causing my acne? If it's helpful, I'm half Mexican and half southern European (Maltese).

I'm so glad your skin is better! It's probably because you aren't eating as much processed foods

No one determine which foods that responsible for your acne as everyone's body acts different. There are no foods that cause acne directly. Acne is caused due to the problems with blood sugar, stress, inflammation. Not only eating foods but also lack of sleep, stress might be the cause of acne. If you are eating too much fats can cause acne. Dairy products are worst if you have acne.

No one can tell you for sure because everyone's body is different.
In my experience eliminating dairy clears my acne by about 80 percent.Grains don't seem to effect me .Just my n=1.I know others are sensitive to them.
Congrats and good luck!
