I have been taking Adderall for about 2 years now for ADHD mostly inattentive type and while I'm not looking to get off of it right now (I'm student teaching and I just can't risk not being able to focus - watching kids and all). I went off of it last summer and that's my plan for this upcoming summer. I'm dating a pharmacist so believe me...I have heard all about the bad stuff. Anyways, my question is...what supplements can I take to help me reduce my dose and/or help just keep me healthy in general. I
'm in the process of cleaning up my diet and I know a clean diet would offer me the necessary supplements...but with the meds I'm not hungry for most of my day (I make myself eat when I remember though) and I'm not the best at planning ahead so I believe supplements would be very beneficial. Any suggestions, ideas, tips would be very much appreciated. Thanks!

Sorry I can't help you with supplements but I do have a suggestion based on my paleo experience and extenstive experience with adderall and other add stimulants.
Don't try to stop while you are in the middle of the life you use the adderall to live. If it is possible to take a break from all societal activities and focus on your body for a few days to a week. All you would have to do each day is eat healthy and get exercise, nothing else. Quit cold turkey in this environment and you will easily be able to return to the old life. Quit adderall with a full plate and you will be overwhelmed.
