Sudden breakout - what's the cause?

I have a religious face regimen that always works. No acne issues. Haven't changed anything up, and all of a sudden one night it started with a swelling under the left eye, then an abundance of red bumps all over my face. Two days later the red bumps subsided, but now there are more, but small bumps covering mainly the jawline and forehead. My diet has not drastically changed, paleo for 9 months now. They are not itchy or painful, they are just bumps; you can't squeeze at them or anything.

I have read, correct me if I'm wrong, it could be too much protein, excess fat, or stress. Stress doesn't strike me as the forefront reason but then again I am -always- anxious about something.

I would appreciate any and all suggestions, because this looks like crack head acne -__-

I got something like that when i was taking a spirulena supplement. maybe you are sensitive to something in your diet? It hadnever effected me before, but the last 3 times ive had anything with that in it i have gotten tiny bumps on my chin and cheeks. The dr. Advised me that when it happens to wash with just water or very mild non scented soap, pat dry and if needed apply a small amount of non scented lotion.
