I am on day 6 of Paleo and my skin is breaking out like crazy. I typically have very clear skin - people even comment on it - and I haven't had breakouts like this since high school. I am 36 now. Nothing else is really going on - I'm not on my period, I'm not stressed, etc. I am taking 2 capsules of Fermented Cod Liver Oil (just switched from fish oil), and a probiotic as my only supplements. A typical day has been:
3 eggs for breakfast with some fruit, nuts for snack, a big salad with chicken and avocado for lunch with olive oil dressing, nuts for snack, and salmon, chicken or beef for dinner with veggies.
This diet is a big change for me and I am starting to feel good after 3 days of the "flu". I really would like to continue but cannot stand the zits and the feeling of an itchy/oily face.
Any suggestions? Thanks!
