Ghee skin care/treatment?

Has anyone tried ghee for skin treatment? Mostly for acne healing?

A few months back my doctor suggested using ghee eye drops for my self induced, obssessive rubbing session, irritated eyes. It worked like a charm! So, have you used it for anything else? Good results, or not so great results?

Not sure if this "counts" but I use the beauty balm from Green Pastures that contains butter oil, among other things, and I really love it. My skin is smooth and well-hydrated even in a very dry climate.

I have dogs at home that sleep in bed with me. It could be hard to try, get really messy and I bet I'd go through a lot of ghee. The dogs, on the other hand, would be happy.

I have tried Ghee for my dry and flaky lips. I used it as a lip balm and yes it really worked for me. I would also love to try it as beauty balm . Ghee is not harmful at all and is the best home remedy for many skin problems. It helps to glow skin and make it healthy.
