Have struggled with acne for 6 years now and is today 22.
I have read alot lately on conection between digestive health and skin problems.
Symptoms apart from acne and mood swings:
I feel rather tired after every meal and I am bloated in my face.
Discomfort feeling while eating and afterwards.
Brain fog, sometimes intense so I Can't concentrate 100%
Whenever I get sick and throw up acne and skin looking less inflammed thr following morning why?
I took ?? round of antibiotics for My acne and it cleared it all up. Then it came back in full force and antibiotics haven't helped since.
Tried candida diet ?? few months didn't improve my skin.
Now I am drinking Bone broth, Eating saurkraut and taking bio vilt probiotics. What Else can I do?
Feel free to talk about the correlation between gut health and skin.
I a male by the way. Thanks!

Make sure you are 100% gluten free. Grain & legume-free is even better!
Eliminate dairy (if eating it) for awhile. When your gut is healed, you can add it back, if you wish.
Get your Vitamin D level tested. In the meantime, sun, tan or supplement (5000 IUs/day D3 oil-based gel cap.)
400 mg Magnesium Glycinate.
Make sure you are eating enough protein--ideally from ruminants.
Eat oysters once a week for zinc. Fatty fish 1-2x a week for Omega 3.
Eat liver once a week.

It is common for antibiotics to cease being effective after time. They probably harm your gut flora over the long run, probiotics and special foods should help to restore it.
Search Paleo hacks with keywords acne or skin. I would recommend the following: get your vit A from animal source (eg, beef liver, cod liver oil), possibly vit D3 supplement (but liver or cod liver oil have good amounts), protein from not just muscle meat (a good balance with broths or collagen powder), fat sources not from vegetable oils (eg,coconut oil, butter, ghee).
You might also want to experiment with a daily spoonful of skate liver oil, sold by green pastures. It is expensive.
Other things often mentioned of this forum for acne is Zinc supplementation and Vit K2 (supplement or food sources).

There's a clear correlation between gut and skin health. Acne patients suffer from gut issues far more often than people with healthy skin. This is probably something you knew already, but gut issues can seriously contribute to chronic inflammation.
This page covers the issue in detail:
