Phytic Acid, Phytase Question!!

I know what whole wheat is high in phytic acid and phytase, and processed white wheat is low phytic acid but high in phytase does that mean white wheat is better for you?

and does that mean if you took a phytase supplement before eating wheat or other phytic acid foods then phytic acid would not be a problem anymore?

Legumes aren't paleo. Why are you asking about non-paleo foods on a paleo website? Personally, *some* legumes are probably ok if they agree with you. And in the grand scheme of things, even a lot of legumes isn't the worst thing in the world.

Phytase exposure is suspected to hypersensitivity pneuomonitis in humans. http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/19483053

You probably don't want to supplement with phytaste. what you get from the food may be more than what is healthy for human to come in contact with.

I can't imagine phytates are a problem as long as phytate-rich foods do not make up a large fraction of your diet. And in the context of a paleo diet, there's so much more nutrient density in our diet that some loss due to phytic acid isn't a big deal.
