@dsohei

Hello--I am looking for A2 milk in the Bay Area for my baby and 4 year old. I live in Oakland and am willing to drive. We would love to join any A2 cowshares. Thank you.

You can update the original post by clicking the little cog on the upper right of the post, btw. So, no, you won't find A2 cow milk in the Bay Area -- at least not in stores. The best you can do is goat milk.

Sorry, clarification: A2 cow's or water buffalo milk, which is what I was raised on as a child in India, with goat's milk as an occasional supplementation. I am aware that most American cows, which are bred for productivity, make some A1 protein. I have heard that Guernsey is comprised of 90% A2. Would like a source for A2/A2 or in the least, 90% A2. Many thanks.

I live in the Bay Area. Trader Joe's has real, full fat goat milk, without hormones. It's the one I buy too. Piazza's (in San Mateo) also has raw goat milk sometimes, but I don't suggest this for small kids, it could prove dangerous. Stick with TJ's goat milk for now.
