Meal allowance modification

I work at a well known fast food restaurant and we get a meal allowance during breaks

Will a little gluten be so detrimental to my health?

If all my other meals are whole foods devoid of gluten/grain/legumes/dairy/soy/vegetable oils, will a few meals like this have a significant impact on my health?

Right now I forego the free ice cream (takes a lot of willpower), drink the water and mostly have the salads, but I have a burger now and then

In that case, I would try to avoid the soy and chemical filled pseudo meat as much as possible, but that is a choice only you can make.

Without knowing exactly what it is you are eating, I can't give you an answer.

I'm wondering what exactly is the cost to my health by doing so, but maybe it's impossible to quantify it?

You won't be able to heal a leaky gut, and if you've got an autoimmune issue such as celiac, the antibodies will stick around wreaking havok wherever they land.

Do your best to avoid the gluten, soy, legumes, industrial seed oils, etc.

The burgers themselves will probably be ok without the bun unless they're made with fillers, then it depends on what the filler is.

I am sure it is still better than the Standard American Diet. In the end, only you can do the cost/benefit analysis. If the free meat (with whatever is included in the meat) is worth it to you, then that is your choice.
