I have been doing paleo for two weeks now. Yes I have messed up and ate Gluten free items that are not paleo, but not a lot. I eat 1 egg and 2 slices of bacon for breakfast banana with 2 tabs of nut butter for lunch and cooked veggie, salad and a meat 4-8 ounces I am 5-8 stuck at 160. I work out 4 times aweek 30 minutes of cardio and 15 minutes of weight traning I do this on my lunch at work so I only have 45-50 minutes.
I am so frustrated I feel bloated, heavy, and not like I am making any progress. actually scared to get on scale feel like I am gaining.
I do have two cups of coffee in the morning as well help please.

One banana and some nut butter is not a normal lunch. Take with you some real food for lunch. Also, that constitutes to a lot of nuts overall, and a banana has 45 gr of net carbs alone (about 50 to 70 net gr of carbs should be your goal for the whole day). In my opinion, you're not eating a lot of what you should be eating (do you eat fish/shellfish? Some berries?).
Finally, give it some time for your body to adjust. It's only been 2 weeks.
Try some HIIT once of twice a week instead of the cardio, and lift heavier/more intensely.
As well as that, you're probably eating vegetables in amounts that you didn't before - fibrous ones can be espically toubelesome for some people, espeically as the body adjusts. These things take time, be patient, and or reduce intake of fibrous veg and have more 'low residue' foostuffs. Consider eating potatoes or sweet potatoes as Paul Jaminet recommends.
I agree with Eugenia about eating different food at lunchtime (although an avergae sized banana has about 30g carbs, not 45, and I disagree that carbs should necessarily be limited, although it can be helpful in cultivating metabolic flexibility when one is transitioning to 'paleo eating'.
Further, eating 'whole' foods doesn' t necessarily meant you will lose weight doing so - a lot of people seem to thinnk that 'paleo eating' automatically leads one to lose weight. Get this out of your head and look at the big picture (hormones, stress, of all kinds, including, perhaps, that related to engaging in steady state cardio frequently...
Do your best, if that fails, get up and go again. Michael Jordan missed more shots than he netted... Above all, be patient with yourself. What's the hurry?
I agree with all the above answers. Definitely limit, if not cut out, the nuts and banana until you notice a difference. I also really really do not suggest weighing yourself. If you're working out then you are definitely gaining muscle mass which weighs more than fat does. I suggest you start taking your measurements instead, like around you waist and thighs and such. That is where you will see an actual difference.
As for the bloating, you might not be an egg person - they are super gassy for me. I switched to meat and veg in the morning and my stomach is much happier for it.
Bananas and nut butter are also not a real lunch, and can be gassy. Eat more meat and veg for lunch. Get used to making enough for leftovers.
i say lift heavy an up your calories (sounds counter-intuitive but it looks like you're fighting a HUGE deficit). try eating more meat, fowl, and fish. bananas and nut butter aren't all that nutrient dense and you need more protein at lunch time. half a sweet potato with butter or coconut oil and a hunk of flesh should do the trick.
You are almost certainly malnourished from your diet, which will only drive up hunger and stop healthy weight loss. Plug your diet into a service like cronometer.com and you'll get a general idea of how nourishing and balanced your diet is.
I've been doing Paleo for two weeks and I've lost 13 lbs so far! My husband and I started it out along with counting calories (we use myfitnesspal). My Paleo friends think I'm nuts, because your body should know when to stop. But I'm pretty sure letting my body eat whatever and whenever is what got me overweight in the first place! I stopped counting after a week as I realized I was going WAY under the suggested calorie intake and would end up eating a 200+ calorie snack after dinner. But in my opinion, doing a calorie tracker will give you perspective on how much you actually do eat. I've heard over and over (even on Biggest Loser) if you don't eat enough you WILL NOT lose weight. My mom did Weight Watchers 15 years ago and she immediately lost weight just by starting to eat breakfast! My question to you would be, do you have much weight to lose? I personally need to lose 35 lbs to be at a healthy weight. But if you don't have that much to lose (other than a personal goal) that may be a factor too. I believe the idea for Paleo is for your body as a whole to be healthy, and weight loss is a reaction to that.
YES EAT MORE! You need more paleo carb sources, thats why your craving the gluten-free grains etc. But don't skimp on the fat either. And a dash of protein..
Not sure if this was said, but a common issue when transitioning to paleo- depending, of course, on what your diet was like before- is digestive distress because your body isn't producing as much stomach acid/digestive enzymes as it should be. I didn't think I should have to add these (HCL and a Digestive enzyme) but when I did I noticed an AMAZING shift in the way I was feeling. Bloating and digestive issues eased up and I had so much more energy.
You're not drinking enough water. The key to your success is hydration. The water also helps to keep you clean, move your bowel movements along. And meals aren't balanced.
