So I eat until I eat full at meal times, don't measure or do any crazy counting etc but it feels like no matter what I eat within 30min to an hour I'm hungry again. This usually happens after dinner which is my usually the meal with the most meat and fat of my day. Anyone else have this or know whats up? I've been just sipping tea or lemon juice and water since I am trying to lose weight and I don't feel like I have less energy or anything either but it's getting rather annoying. I have been consistently losing weight as well gone from 164 to 151 now since starting the transition to Paleo in January so I don't want to add more and stop losing but I also don't want to hit a plateau because I'm not eating enough... thoughts?

Thanks! I do tend to eat quickly, I'm usually the first one done. I will try slowing down for sure. I usually have two to three different plants as sides at the least, one starchy and one-two leafy all cooked with good fats and some kind of grass fed beef or pastured pork, rarely poultry or seafood because I will crave red meat (ie iron) if I go too many days eating lighter meats. My meat also comes with veggies like onion, celery, or peppers for flavor. I have noticed when I eat my eggs and bulletproof coffee in the morning I easily forget to eat lunch. So I'll end up eating around 1 or 2 instead. I don't know if that's because I'm distracted with kids and working at home or if it's what I'm eating which seems like much less than my dinner.
I do sometimes have this problem since going paleo. I think part of my problem is that I eat too fast, as someone mentioned above. How I've also helped fix it is I always drink a big glass of water before I eat and afterwards I have a BIG cup of hot tea. If I do still feel a hunger pain within the next hour I drink another big glass of tea or water and then I remind myself everything I just ate and it seems to help a lot.
Used to happen to me when eating dairy (SCD goat milk yoghurt regularly). Just like you said...no matter what I ate in the evening I felt incredibly hungry within 30-60 minutes. I assume leptin/ghrelin were total mess.
may be you are eating too fast...?
If so, eat really slooooow, chew all you food 'til you can 'drink it'. This will give your digestive system time to signal your brain all is good, you are satiated. Ghrelin is known as the 'hunger hormone', but there are likely multiple mechanisms at play.
Eating carbs helps signal satiation hormones...kind of blasphemy, but maybe you should add more carbs?
Or maybe the ketoer answer would be: You're not eating enough calories, add more fat! Or maybe just more plant bulk.
Experiment and see what works.
