Drinking decaf coffee on Paleo

Folks, I am about to start and Paleo regime and wanted to ask about decaf coffee. I have been drinking decaf for well over 10 years now and it is one drink I really enjoy. I also drink sugar free orange squash (but not much) but these are the only things I really like.

2 questions -

1. Is decaf coffee ok on Paleo, and if so why or why not?

2. Suggest other paleo drinks to make plain water interesting and delicious

I have also in the past drunk decaf green tea and rooibos (red bush) tea which I could start using again

@raydawg I only drink Nescafe decaf (ordinary or gold blend) both of which which say on the pack 'decaffeinated purely with water'. I have in the past drunk decaf green tea and rooibos (red buch) tea

Be sure you know what kind of coffee you're drinking. Most decaf coffee is made from robusta beans with the caffeine extracted by hexane - a very toxic method. Look for high quality coffee beans that have had their caffeine removed via the Swiss Water Method.
