Paleo Restaurants/groceries in Anchorage

I am traveling to Anchorage for business next week. I am wondering if there are any gems hidden among the regular restaurant establishments? Also, does anyone know of any good grocery stores that sell real food?

I am taking along some nuts and homemade jerky to fill in some gaps, but I would like to find something other than the usual big chain stores with questionable selections. Thanks

The hidden gems are in people's chest freezers. So many people hunt and fish in AK, if you are going to people's homes, good chance you'll get to try different game.

The best halibut I've ever eaten was in Anchorage. Japanese salt grilled (shioyaki) on a bed of finely sliced cabbage. I can't remember the name of the restaurant, but Yamata or Arigato would be good places to call and ask if they have it.
