Has anyone tried this specific SNP DNA anaylsis kit before? Can you test more than one person? Are there other SNP DNA analysis kits out there that offer a customized health action plan? Is there another company that does it for cheaper?

I've gotten a lot of benefit from 23andMe. I ended up buying it for my family members for the holidays. The price has dropped down to $100, now, so it's much more affordable than it was. They're making a push to get it more widespread, thus the drop in price.

thank you for the referal! that is indeed much more affordable! But it doesnt come with a customized health action plan right? does it test for all the same things as the other snp analysis kit i linked?

23andme is fantastic. The level of detail is incredible. I do wish someone who knows more about genetics than I do would write-up the impacts of specific SNPs against a Paleo diet. It would be useful in interpreting my results.

At a high level 23andme will tell you if you specific markers for gluten intolerance and celiac (I do!) as well as predisposition to other related diseases.
