Am I missing something here?! How is it possible for this woman to be professor at a prestigious university?

???These foods [high sugar foods] mess up our insulin regulation system and affect other inflammatory pathways,??? she said. ???And that has nothing to do with how they affect body weight.???

The 'wellness blog' is a resource of the mobile subdomain for nytime.com (it looks to be a Wordpress site). So your link works if it were mobile.nytimes.com/blogs/well/2014/05/09/fed-up-asks-are-all-calories-equal/. However, the desktop version of their wellness blog is a subdomain of nytimes.com, and not a resource. So well.blogs.nytimes.com/2014/05/09/fed-up-asks-are-all-calories-equal. Not the best setup on their part.

I can't figure out how to get the link to work from my iphone. The article is called "Fed Up asks, are all calories equal?" by Anahad O'Connor.

Sounds like a bunch of soundbites. Maybe that's what that documentary is, a bunch of interviews with folks with opposing viewpoints. Sounds really disconnected from the article.

I certainly do agree with some of the quotes.
