I was wondering if someone could help me create a strict meal plan to help me lose weight but be sufficient enough so I am getting the correct nutrients to stay energized.
When i have a soccer game coming up, what foods and how much should i eat to make sure i have enough energy for the game. (i feel like vegetables wouldn't provide enough energy and a lot of meat makes me feel slow, but im no expert)
Sweet potato, banana, dates, raisins. All good source of carbs/energy. Sweet potato should be eaten at least an hour before, others can be more of a "quick snack right before" thing (depending on your timing)

Colpo's The Fat Loss Bible would prove a pretty handy resource, I think. Don't be discouraged by the title. Very clear (and persuasive) on the carb and protein needs of the athlete/ very active.

There is nothing wrong with including potato/sweet potatoes/tubers/fruits/nuts as part of your 30-day Paleo challenge. Keep an eye on your serving and adjust them accordingly to how you feel and look! :)
