What do you think of my easy paleo churros recipe?

Hey I just had a fantastic revelation paleo churros! Now I know this may sound weird to some people but give my idea a try.

Go out get a bag of plain chicharrones, salted. Next get a bowl and mix some honey with a fair amount of cinnamon. Dip chicharrones in honey-cinnamon mix.

Eat and be amazed.

Thanks everyone for the support and upvoting! Next time I will be sure pose this as a question. I actually need to gain the weight so I don't mind this as a treat, but this is so my new favorite movie snack. So yummy.

Look for the chicharrones whose ingredients read it reads "fried out pork fat" or "fried out pork fat with skin attached" and salt. There is an excellent post here: http://paleohacks.com/questions/34847/are-pork-rinds-healthy#axzz2PVJyICk6

I'd be careful with a fat/sugar/salt combo that amazingly delicious. I'd binge on that!

I upvoted you Alicia. I tried your recipe and have ate over 3 pounds of it in the last 2 hours.

Fixed. Alicia, to play the game you have to format your headline in the form of a question. Arbitrary, but useful for inspiring conversation. Sounds crazy tasty. Probably too high reward if someone is trying to lose weight though, seems like the kind of thing that could be eaten by the fistful.

Chicharrones are pork cracklins... paleo, how could the fat content cause diabetes or obesity? Maybe it's all of the corn tortillas and beans.

How are pork skins not paleo? So long as they are not cooked in canola oil or something.

are chicharrones paleo? as far as I know they're one of the most popular Mexican snacks and most likely responsible for the alarming diabetes and obesity rates that have nearly tripled for Mexico in the last decades.
