Other than the desirable and frothy texture that resuts in using a blender, what difference does blending coconut oil or just stirring it in do? My goals are to supress my appetite until lunch time for weight loss.

I eat canned sardines all the time but you should be careful of the BPA. You can find some BPA-free canned sardines at Whole Foods, as well as some in glass jars. As Karen mentioned, be careful of the oil they're packed in.

I've actually seen dairy mentioned as the acne culprit more often than fruit. It certainly won't hurt to cut out fruit for a month, then re-introduce and see if there is a difference.
